Absolutely love this place. I was in Mountain View area for work and found out about this store after mentioning to my friends that I want to try one of those gas store cocktail drink bags. This place did not disappoint, the vibes are a little chaotic with club-like music playing and great options for snacks like a gas station. The cashiers are fun and one of them gives out suckers sometimes as well. We went to Delores park after getting drinks and then over to oakland for a girl in red concert. Great vibes for the concert after the mixed drinks from Mr. Liquor.
My wife and I stopped by before we went to Delores Park. Their mixed drink bags are cool. They have really creative, funny names that fit well with each drink. Each bag comes with an ice cup. The drinks are priced at about what you would pay at a bar. The staff at the shop are very friendly - we stood in front of the fridge forever trying to decide what to pick and no one gave us a bad time. We enjoyed it and we would definitely return.
GREAT SERVICE. The counter staff is kind and fast, super professional. They have ice cups and more importantly community. Made friends outside the store and was able to start my night off great. I cannot emphasize enough the beautiful community that is built here from the respect for the shop and the value of safety and kindness on a night out. Must try the Boss Lady, so good!
It was so much fun picking out your drink and the names are funny!! Definitely a nice little treat to take to Dolores park near by with some food or some vibes :)
Mr. Liquor is an awesome option to grab a drink and go chill at Dolores Park. In particular the service is really good when one of the cashiers is there because he plays really hype music and brings up the cheer!
Cutty bangs, baby! Mr. Liquor is a day drinkers dream. On the corner of Valencia and 23rd, you find a seemingly average corner liquor store but walk into a damn party with hyphy music bumpin, naturally. There are two fridges filled with DIY mixed cocktails in ziplock bags. With names like "booty 4 dayz" and "hand job" how do you not expect to get absolutely wrecked!?! Not only are these cocktails super fun, they potent as hell. Most of them come with 2 spirits and a mixer and run you around $10 - $15 bucks. Some have bigger liquor bottles and cost closer to $20. Best part is that they have ice cups ready to go for you to mix your drink on the go. The vibes here are unmatched for a liquor store. Place is clean, well stocked, and staff is super friendly! They end your experience with a lollipop to go with your drank. lol Perfect for a park day, around a 10 minute walk to dolores!
Been coming here a long time but there are a few other local stores with better prices and selection. Good for quick mixed drink bag if you in the area.
I never thought I would write a Yelp review about a liquor store but here we are! Mr. liquor is a liquor store located on a corner in the mission (tough to find parking). I came here after seeing it on tiktok and it definitely did not disappoint. I wanted to grab one of their to-go cocktails since it reminded me so much of the Korean convenience store trend. All the drinks had such interesting names. I got the cheeks 4 weeks and it was SO GOOD. 10/10 would recommend. I would love to come here again and grab a drink before waking over to Dolores! They also gave free lollipops in the ladies :-)
Like most people, I found this place because it was shared by friends who saw it on social media, and when it comes to deconstructed drinks served up in a ziploc bags, how could I resist? As soon as you walk in, they are blaring music to get the vibes going. I feel like I could listen to Mac Dre, Too Short, E-40, all day and it really sets the tone because their ziploc bag drink concoctions are going naturally make you do some hyphy movement, caddy daddy dances. They got two doors with ziploc bag drinks with very unique names. I went with one that was Henny + Hyphy Juice, and my date got the 'Blue Balls' which was red bull, parrot rum, and ciroc. While my dates drink was good, my henny drink mixed together, looked and tasted like dirty bath water. Ended up drinking most of the henny on it's own. While it wasn't my cup of drink, I like the effort. It was $19.99 for a half a fifth of henny and the hyphy juice, which is plenty of alcohol by itself. They are all in separate bottles, and when you pay, you can grab a big cup and ice from the cooler by the register that you can pour your drinks into. If you are spending the day at Dolores Park, this is a solid spot to start if you didn't buy drinks before getting to the park. They got plenty of ziploc bag drinks, beer, liquor, etc. The people inside were awesome and really fun to chat with. Such a fun place, will be back for sure!
I came here for the presorted mixed drinks in the back of the store. The Kiki is delicious!!!! If you want to dilute it more, buy a mighty mango naked juice too. The baggie comes with a cup of ice and straw so that you can enjoy a nice cold drink. Only down side of this is the pricing. $14.13 for the baggie after tax. It cost around the same amount as getting it at a bar. The shots cost amount $4 each at wine and more and a kerns should be $2 max. So there is an up charge
